Cristine is the founder and owner of Rise Therapy center and a therapist who believes that healing begins when we are held—not judged—and given gentle, courageous space to look inward. She walks alongside those who have often felt unseen, overwhelmed, or stuck: people who have tried talk therapy, medication, or “everything,” and still carry deep childhood wounds, chronic anxiety or depression, somatic pain, or patterns of relational difficulties that feel unchangeable.
Having spent twelve years as an educator before transitioning into counseling, Cristine brings both a nurturing warmth and structure, gentle curiosity along with the wisdom of healthy boundaries. She founded Rise Therapy Center to create a sanctuary for healing—a space where children, teens, adults, couples, and families can be seen, heard, and truly met.
With a heart grounded in inner-child work, nervous-system regulation, and compassionate curiosity, Cristine specializes in treatment-resistant clients—individuals and families whose pain runs deep, whose symptoms are layered, and whose stories often involve trauma, attachment disruption, early unmet needs, and unresolved emotional patterns.
Because traditional talk therapy doesn’t always reach the root of deep, layered trauma, Cristine offers brain- and body-based therapies—including clinical hypnotherapy, Polyvagal Therapy, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). These tools help soften the walls around painful memories or somatic markers of old wounds and are quickly gaining a reputation in transforming the mental health world.
Cristine draws on a foundation of therapeutic frameworks—including Internal Family Systems, Jungian Theory, inner-child healing and attachment-based work—to guide individuals, couples, and families through emotional incongruence, chronic distress, relational disconnect, and patterns of reactivity rooted in early pain.
In addition to her formal clinical professional work, Cristine authored the 3-6-9 Family Reunification Plan©, which works to apply specific goals to families of high conflict or families in current litigation. She is a respected expert witness in Cobb, Cherokee, Douglas, Fulton, Forsyth, and Dekalb counties, as well as the states of Colorado and California.
Ever the advocate for the mental health community, Cristine provides Continuing Education and Public Speaking Engagements on topics such as High-Conflict Systems, Neutral Parenting, Mindfulness, Reunification Therapy, and Childhood Therapy and is the host of And Still We Rise, a podcast that explores the process of healing wounds through thought-provoking discussions with special guests. She is also the author of the therapeutic intervention book, 30 CBT Creative Interventions for Children and Teens.
If you’ve felt like you’ve tried “everything” and nothing has healed the ache inside, Cristine is a therapist that can see you and can hold space for the possibility that—together—you can gently uncover what’s buried, meet those parts of you that never had a voice, and help you rise into more wholeness, resilience, and ease.
A Few Words From Cristine:
Very few of us get to travel this beautiful journey unscathed. Through our experiences, relationships, and conditioning, we may have developed some belief systems that truly do not serve us and, unfortunately, some beliefs that actually harm us. Therapy is a sacred place to be vulnerable, honor the radiance that is you, and learn new ways of BEING.
As an intuitive therapist, I am lit up seeing my clients become the Sages of their own lives and heal the wounds that have manifested in the forms of relationship, somatic, or behavioral issues.
“Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.”
— Carl Jung
