Kaylee earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia College before going on to get her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Georgia.

She works with individuals and families across all stages of life who may be struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, as well as highly sensitive individuals.

Kaylee creates a warm and welcoming environment where clients feel safe to express themselves and focus on personal growth. When working with children and teens, she often integrates play therapy with expressive arts, helping them tackle challenges through fun and age-appropriate activities. With all of her clients, she incorporates cognitive-behavioral techniques to help the clients shift unhelpful thinking patterns into ones that are more compassionate and strength-based.

With each individual client, Kaylee tailors her approach to best suit their needs, whether that be helping kids identify and manage big emotions, guiding teens through identity exploration, or helping adults address childhood wounds that continue to impact their way of operating in the world.

A Few Words From Kaylee:

As we navigate the world, we are faced with so many challenges and no “guidebook” on how to face them. We often look to others for the answers, or follow in the footsteps of those around us, but when we do that, we lose touch of our own intuition and sense of self. I aim to provide a space where my clients can get to know themselves, and realize that they have answers within. I may provide tools to help you cope, but you are the one who chooses to pick up the tools and use them.

So often what we need is a space where we can sort through what others are telling us to feel, who to be, and how to feel. In therapy I hope to assist you in sorting through what are your feelings versus the feelings of others you are taking on. I believe that all of my clients have the potential for healing within themselves- sometimes they just need someone to remind them of that. It is my honor and privilege to sit with you as you learn to believe in yourself.

“Recovery can only take place within the context of relationships; it cannot occur in isolation.”
